Life in Playa del Carmen

As the last year, when we had come to Cabo Pulmo for one weekend and stayed there for nine months, the same seems to be happening to us right now, here in Playa del Carmen. We came to Playa for a couple of days, to sell our knitted jewellery and "accidentally" met one guy who recommeded us to visit one local community - Sacbe. Somehow we ended up there volunteering, building with earth (we have built one clay oven (now we are making pizzas and selling them) and working on the other projects, too), helping to prepare events like temascal, concerts or different ceremonies, swimming in cenotes every day, living with a family of other volunteers and expanding our borders. It is too hot for cycling anyway :-), so it is nice to have some break from cycling and doing something else for a while...
