We made it to the falls yesterday (had some difficulty sending messages near the border but now we're in the most wonderful diner letting us use their wifi). Canada is amazing, we've been telling our story to all the tourists (even in the middle of all these strangers we still stick out:). At Scoops (the diner) this morning everyone paid for our breakfast...and then the diner didn't bill us!! They're even sending us with a loaf of bread for the road.
Just wanted to let everyone know that Canada is treating us like long lost friends,& as Martin just said,"it was hard to get here but it will be even harder to leave this place"....he was talking about the wait for the amazing food but I think it applies to this beautiful country too.
After getting our university degree it was clear we are moving on in our life. But somehow the direction "get the job, buy a house, have kids as fast as possible" didn't seem to be the right one for us... We felt that there is more we can learn than in the school... Cycling is great way how to learn... And learning is great way how to live. But this requires one big thing - to DECIDE to do it. And if not NOW, then when?
I am SO glad you guys made it!!! I am still waiting for my post card though...
ReplyDeleteKeep posting! I love reading about your travels!

And Happy Birthday Barb!
